September Sunsets, Sails, & Sycamores!

September seems to be a month when I get inspired to do paintings in series!
It's not intentional, it's just happened that way!

In Sept. 2020 I painted 3 sunset inspired paintings, one of which I've used as a model for many more since.

In Sept. 2023 I visited the Isle of Wight, just off the South Coast of mainland Britain, and was inspired to paint some sails after seeing all the yachting going on.

Also in Sept 2023 I felt inspiration to paint a sycamore tree, not once, but TWICE!
Not just any Sycamore tree but one of the most famous trees in Britain, cut down overnight by vandals one night that month. I never did get to photograph it, but I decided I WAS able to paint it.
