I went to the Isle of Wight in September 2023.
Just off the south coast of mainland Britain, it's a huge holiday destination, but I'd never been there in my 57 years up to then!
Pretty sailing orientated, particularly in Cowes, world famous for the annual regatta there, so I felt inspired to paint some sails!
I must admit I didn't actually see any sails on those colours, but I liked them so in they went!
Originally painted in acrylic on 8x8inch canvas panel board, the original is no longer available, but this canvas print comes in 5 different sizes, each with hanging hardware and free shipping included.
The canvas texture enhances the image's natural look and feel, creating a truly immersive art experience.
Features:
- Responsibly sourced wood is used for stretcher bars, mainly FSC certified wood, to make the canvas prints, ensuring a long-lasting and high-quality product.
- The slim canvas has an approximately 2cm /0.8" thick wood stretcher bar, and comes with hanging hardware included for easy installation.
- A coated fabric, a blend of cotton and polyester, is used for our canvas substrate. This provides a weight of approximately 300-350gsm/110-130lb cover and a thickness of 350-400 microns, giving you a sturdy and durable product.
- Also included is a hanging kit, which may vary depending on the country of fulfillment.
- To ensure no damage during transportation, canvas prints are shipped in protective packaging and strong boxes.
- Sizes may vary slightly by region. For the US and Canada, the measurement is in inches, while for the rest of the world, it is in centimeters.
