No.9 Winter Wonderland - Original Painting

This is the original painting of No. 9 Winter Wonderland.

Early on in my toe dipping back into the world of painting, acrylic on a 5x7 inch stretched canvas, it made me realise a few things....
1. I liked using a palette knife. The sheer swipeability of it meant that I could feel more of:
2. Expression. That's the 2nd of the 3 words I use to describe my art and why I do it, along with colour and imagination, which I was seeing I would enjoy  conveying a lot with art.
3. I probably needed a bigger canvas. I was using the smaller ones simply because I was toe dipping at the time, didn't want to make too big of a mess, nor spend too much! In fact, it only needs a slightly bigger canvas, at almost the same cost, to allow much more room for the expression side.

This painting finds itself in the 'Christmas' collection - although not Christmassy specifically, I find the wintery landscape drawing you in with the snow and the bluey colours of night do tend to bring out thoughts of Christmas!

So, you can buy canvas prints and greeting cards with the image on, but this is the original.
Of course, that means there is only one available!

The lead time may be slightly longer, as the order will be filled by me personally, packed and sent by me, so life's timings might get in the way. I'd go with an approximate  2 weeks say?
