No.7 Brown & Blue Doodle - Canvas Print

This is one of the 'old' doodles collection. I call them that because I couldn't even tell you when I painted it!

The best I can do is that I know where I was living when I painted it, and haven't lived there since 2009, so that's the *latest* it cold have been. It's probably a good couple of years before that, but I decided to just call it 2009!

The doodle is all one line, I've always done my doodling like this, right back to my school days, a long time ago..!
The line starts in one corner of the canvas, then you can follow it along as it weaves its' way across the canvas, ending up (eventually) in the other corner!

I was experimenting with formats, having done a dew doodles on 12x12 canvas with a marker for the doodle line - for this one, not only did I use a smaller 8x8 canvas, but instead of a marker I used a good old biro pen to do the doodle.

It did allow for more room to weave the doodle across the canvas, but it also made the painting a bit harder as the line of a biro is a LOT thinner than the line of a marker!
I think to this date it's the only time I used a biro, and I do like what I think of as a classic brown and blue colour combination..!

Of course with prints, it can be produced on different sizes, so you can go with whichever suits your needs/preference ;-)
