No.57 The Sycamore Gap Tree At Night - Original Painting

Acrylic on 8x8inch canvas panel board.
Painted in September 2023, this is the second of two paintings I did of The Sycamore Gap Tree which had been standing next to Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland for hundreds of years.

I say 'had', because one night at the end of September 2023 it was completely cut down by vandals.
People were sharing the photos they had taken over the years, but I didn't have any to share, and that's why I decided to paint it!

The panel board is flat, so it can be leant against something, hung by itself or put in a frame.
I sell it without hanging hardware or frame, but if you'd like me to include them, contact me and let me know ;-)
