No.15 Fire & Water - Canvas Print

I didn't set out with the intention of calling this one 'Fire & Water', but when I'd finished it, it does rather scream out for the name, doesn't it..?

When I started it, I was still getting used to a new brand of paint, which I quite like due to the thickness of it.

I was also settling into using a palette knife, so this was a painting to just allow myself to enjoy both of those elements, and see what happened - with the result being a little bit fire, a little bit water!

I did think, (and I think this a lot with my paintings) that ooh, I could do this style with all sorts of colour combinations!  I painted this in 2020, and as of the start of 2025 it's still the only one...

As I say I painted the original in March 2020 on a 12x12 canvas panel board.
