Patent drawing for the iconic Lego brick.
Founded in the 1930s by Ole Kirk Kristiansen by combining the Danish words for 'play well', 'Leg Godt'.
In the late 40s he came up with the plastic brick, calling it simply the Lego brick and having word printed in every brick.
It wasn't until the 50s that they started making sales outside Denmark, and in 1958 Ole's son Godtfred filed the patent application, and it's this that I've tweaked here.
Suitable for Lego fans of any age!
The original applications are in black and white, so I've made this available in white and also 2 other colours, which I've called Blueprint Blue & Biscuit Brown.
I've also made 3 sizes available.
These come ready to hang, and are great for the wall of any Lego fan, and also make *great* gifts for those hard-to-buy-for Lego fans in your life - birthdays, Christmas, etc.
The canvas texture creates a lovely look and feel, did I already mention they are perfect for the wall, and make a great gift for Lego fans..?
